Friends
Think of friends on Spotsie as potential roommates — you can save and share listings with other users you've added as friends just like you would when looking for a place through classified ads in the newspaper. Only Spotsie makes it much easier: all of your friends saved listings show up in your profile and vice versa making sharing and collaborating a whole lot easier.
Friends are other users you can add to share information with. Once you add someone as a friend, their saved properties will show up in your saved listings section. This way, when you and your potential roommates are looking for places off-campus, you can view and save properties on your own, and collaborate by having access to view your friends whenever you want.
To add a friend, log in and go to the My Profile tab at the top. Then navigate to the Friends tab and you'll see a search box to locate friends. You can search by username, email address, and name. Once you get some results you can click the heart icon to the right of the person you want to add. From there, that person will show up in your friends list and you can start viewing their properties.
To remove a friend, navigate to your friends page and click the red remove button.
Anyone who adds you as a friend can see the properties that you have saved. They will show up in their saved listings page.
To see who has saved you as a friend, navigate to your friends page and below the listing of your friends is a list of anyone on the site who has added you as one of their friends.
